I gave a fun and informative presentation this morning for some of the Kent, WA Chamber of Commerce members. The title was: Making Money by Marketing your Message: Developing your Face to Face Commercial
The folks in the auduence were blown away by how fast I could come up with and deliver persuasive messages AND how the messages hit home for the people that volunteered. Some of the participants flew out of the room after the speech – I am certain to go make something happen with the message I created for them.
I left the room thinking to myself…how am I going to make money off of my own message from today? While I did not give away the whole farm, I did feel like I gave some valuable messages away for free. I demonistrated to them clearly that I can do it and do it very well, even off the top of my head. If I could shoot those marketing messages from my hip – imagine having a couple of hours with me!
